Since Bondi Atrocities

Make no mistake, two deliberate murderers unleashed overwhelming hate on innocent people. They employed powerful weapons and turned the innocence of others against themselves. Death.

They were resisted, and people suffered grievously for resisting. The heroes may make us all proud.

Victims were powerless. Everyone there was their victim. The ripples spread out from the sadly lovely sands of Bondi.

I am currently saddened to see reports of people wanting to profit from this ugly and hateful event. To make personal profit from harm done to others. To make it a political football.

People who want to get winning favour for their party; who look to gain the well-paid top jobs; people who want to ensue they keep weapons of maximum killing efficiency.

How ugly to see images of opportunists strutting around and making sound-bytes at Bondi. Shame!

There is the unpleasant broader question of the incipient racism in Australia. Our 237 years of racism.

The Commonwealth took over the mantle from the States. Our States have a grim history of bloody dispossession and death.

The Commonwealth of Australia was initiated under "Australia for the white man". That conveniently ignored the immigrant reality of those (we) "white men". And the existence of the remnant original inhabitants! Officially, that policy has gone. There have been necessary changes.

Justice is needed. The just can be recognised and admitted. It is not easy now. People are doing their best.

Please God, have mercy on Australia. Please bless and prosper all doers of good.

A part of our sad story; a story which was even bigger, constant, and more relentless against the Aboriginal inhabitants of Australia.
