Victorias's day (?)
The VEC shows Victoria's next election will be on Saturday, 28 November, 2026.
This will be a State Election.

How long to go now?
The result may be substantially decided a little before 28/11/26. That date is the official date of the election, "Election Day". The Commonwealth progressively made it easier to vote early, and the States have followed suit.
For Victoria, selectors aged 70 and over are eligible to automatically receive ballot packs by mail (not for the Commonwealth!).
Dates
3/11/26 Governor issues Writ for new State election.
Parliament has finished its term.
Nominations open for all seats in both Houses.
10/11/26 Elector rolls close
13/11/26 Nominations close
16/11/26 Early voting opens
28/11/26 All voting centres in the State open to all electors who have not already voted.
