South Australian Election 2026 (Revised)
Topnote added:
Very puzzling news from ECSA. Can not imagine how their procedures have failed. It could not be due to the absence of the Commissioner. The system security does not depend on the top administrator/manager.

In my opinion there is something strange about these events and I would like to see an informed examination of the work processes and procedures used by ECSA and an audit of compliance in 2026.
Previous post follows
The ECSA website is a puzzle to me! It is not 100% accurate.
https://result.ecsa.sa.gov.au
However, it does indicate the results (number of seats and % share of vote) for the Lower House (Assembly)
Australian Labor Party (ALP) 34 72.3%Liberal Party (LIB) 5 10.6%Pauline Hanson's One Nation (ONP) 4 8.5%Independent (IND) 4 8.5%
That may, or may not, partly depend on two-party preferred counting. Preferential (ie, final) counts have been done in at least some Districts (I checked 10).
However, I do wonder if this progress as at 2/4/26 data is accurate:
Count progress 688 of 694 polling booths (99.1%)58 of 59 early voting centres (98.3%)
The Upper House (Legislative Council) takes longer to make final, owing to the complex count required.
(No further post from me on the SA election.)
Yours sincerely
